SHIPPING UPDATES

US copies of Main Gauche have been landing all over! While many are still in transit, most will arrive this week via FedEx and USPS Media Mail. Canada and all international copies go out this week, while Zweihander Revised Core Rulebook will go out next week. Special leather-bound editions will be shipped by end of month – details to follow on that soon!

Copies of Main Gauche are landing in the US right_now! UK and international are also in transit, and will land super quick. Zweihander Revised Core Rulebook will be shipping next week, with Special Editions to follow by end of August.

Are you at GenCon this year? We will be at Studio 2 Publishing’s booth 2029 all day Saturday and Sunday. Come by, get some free bookmarks and preview Main Gauche!

Speaking of which, we received a box of Main Gauche Kickstarter special editon samples today from the printer. Check them out below.

Also, here’s a look at the limited edition skivertex leatherette material we are using, with leaf imprint. This isn’t our cover, but represents a sample of the color and quality of the make.

Since it’s going to take a bit longer to have the limited editions w/slipcases done (anticipating end of August), I am going to have them shipped to my office. From there, I will sign every single book, and include some special bookmarks, just for you all.

Thanks for your patience! Here's our end-of-month update:

Magpie Games (our distributor) have confirmed receipt of all shipments from DriveThruRPG (cards, folios, screens).
ZWEIHANDER standard offset arrives at Magpie Games office this week.
MAIN GAUCHE + ZWEIHANDER special edition slipcase being bound in the skivertex 'leatherette' this week, and set to arrive at the distributors by August 13th. We previously upgraded from lexitone to skivertex to ensure that you had an even higher quality print. I'll have images soon once they land at my office after GenCon.

The bad news: Main Gauche standard offset had a bad run in the machines, which crushed the end papers on some of the books. I'll post pictures below, but here's what we netted out;

56 out of 590 of the Dejan Mandic MAIN GAUCHE standard offset covers are shippable.
325 out of 375 of the Ken Duquet MAIN GAUCHE standard offset covers are shippable.

This means we have to do a short print run to catch up, which will be ready by August 13th. The printer will then overnight the books to our distributors, so all is ready to head out the door by August 15th.

The end sheet damage issues – while minor – are unacceptable to be shipped. These book demand collector's quality, and I will ensure that is precisely what you receive. Here's a few pictures of what the end sheets look like:

Here's a picture of what the back end sheets look like. As you can see, there's a serious machine press issue in the paper:

This puts us on schedule to begin pick/pack/ship in mid-August. We will share out additional photos of the pick/pack/ship operation once everything arrives at Magpie Games.

I wish I had better news, but these are changes that are impossible to catch until all books are pressed. The printer and printer agent have assured me that come hell or high water, the books will be done by August 15th and ready to be shipped.
