Dear cultists,

You asked; we heard you. We are reissuing a second reprint of the ENnie gold award-winning Best Game and Product Of The Year ZWEIHÄNDER Grim & Perilous RPG!

The offset print edition of ZWEIHÄNDER Grim & Perilous RPG will be in 8.5x11 format, which we anticipate to be shipped by December 2018.

It will be printed on 70# clay-matte paper, offset quality with soft-touch matte cover, smythe binding (section sewn) and interior ribbon. This is the best version you can purchase, of collector's item quality. Its materials will resemble the offset print edition of ZWEIHANDER Grim & Perilous RPG from our first Kickstarter. This is only for the original cover by Jussi Alarauhio. It will include all errata, grammatical fixes and printed in the good ol' USA.

You need only add +$65 to your pledge level to pick up the physical+pdf edition.

A retailer pledge level is also now available for verified brick-and-mortar locations, sold in combined cases of 5 ZWEIHÄNDER offset copies and 3 MAIN GAUCHE copies. Cases cannot be split. Retailers must provide a valid business license to [email protected] immediately after pledging, or else the pledge will be removed.

August 9 - Just WFT is the Witchhunter's #StatHat?

Dear cultists,

Some of you are new to our Kickstarter, and are asking what the heck is a Witchhunter's #StatHat. Let me take a moment to explain precisely what this mysterious hat is.

In April 2018 and months onward, we had posted a joke-ey hat. We ended up making into a real thing you could print out and cut-n-paste together It included paper ribbons to show your current Damage Condition Track (how we track health in Zweihander/Main Gauche. Each ribbon has the condition, along with a hilarious limerick written by Jen Duquet.

We asked some folks to show themselves in the #StatHat, and awarded the best group free copies of the print-on-demand #ZweihanderRPG core book. 

Here's my level 2 kobold, who fancies himself the littlest witchhunter. 

So, yes - all backers get a PDF copy of this. Even those who dropped a buck in our BEGGAR'S BOWL get a PDF copy of it. In fact... if you want to print it out and post a picture of it on social media, tagging it #StatHat, we may even give away a free copy to the best picture in October!

The second Stretch Goal has been unlocked! Say hello to Daemon Magick cards.

Tracking Covenant spells on paper for your Daemon-worshipping cultist sucks. Thats why we are creating these player-friendly cards for you to keep in front of your Character Folio to help manage tracking your spells in a fun, easy way.

Let's face it: standard US & Euro poker card sizes suck. That's why every Daemon Magick Card will be meticulously lain out in tarot card format with a matte finish (2.75" x 4.75"), fitting perfectly in-hand or on the table around your characters sheet. All Covenants will be beautifully illustrated by Ken Duquet, with each uniquely color-coded for easy memory using a legible font (visible even when you're five pints deep in the evening). In fact, we take cues from Flock of Seagulls with the card's design: party in the front (illustration), and business on the back (Daemon Covenant effects). Or flip that - you get the picture.

These 99 tarot cards + PDF can be Added On for $21.00 as surveys are sent out from our pledge manager. Be sure to read more about Add Ons in the Kickstarter to fully understand how shipping works.

Dear cultists,

We are achingly close to the stretch goal I KNOW you all want to see. Look to the stars, and they will reveal what is to come.

 Also: did you know you can increase your pledge during Kickstarter? By simply adding more to your pledge now, it will be applied as a 'reserve' during the Backerkit/CrowdOx phase to apply to any number of Add Ons. Meaning, if you are interested in securing the Injury & Mishap cards, the Demon Magick cards or any number of other inexpensively-priced Add Ons we have for our Kickstarter, you can increase your pledge now. Plus, it has the added bonus of revealing future Stretch Goals! Keep in mind while we will have these as products on DriveThruRPG in the future, they are bargain bin priced so that you - our gentle cultist - can get your chaos-grubbing hands on them now inexpensively. 

We will be away from the crystal ball and cauldron this weekend to spend time with our families. It's been a very busy week: between GenCon, winning gold in the ENnies for Best Game & Product of the Year, and being twisted up in Kickstarter and running our own game, we are taking a 48 hour breather to catch up with family and friends. ps - to maximize Damage in your Zweihänder game, knock a foe off their feet onto the ground using Takedown (1 AP), and then make a Melee Attack (1 AP) for CB+2D6 Fury Dice. Have your ally Charge (2 AP) and make a Melee Attack (1 AP): CB+3D6 Fury Dice right there! If your ally has a weapon with the Punishing Quality, use 1 Fortune point to gain 1 more AP to turn it into CB+4D6 Fur Dice - maximum carnage!

Look: we all know what that next sweet, sweet stretch goal is - right? Surely, it's a reprint of the Zweihänder Grim & Perilous RPG offset edition with cover by Jussi Alarauhiowhich includes all the errata, right?

Here's the situation: we need to boost the signal to get the word out. Because, after all, we would absolutely <3 to get you grim bastards & dudettes a reprinted copy of the book.

So... how do we get there?

1) Help us spread the word. Let people know that MAIN GAUCHE is created by the ENnie gold Best Game & gold Product of the Year Zweihänder guys. Share with your friends and let them know how much you want to see the reprint of the grim bastard who drop-kicked Starfinder and Star Trek out of the ENnies.

2) Socialize, socialize, socialize! Our largest market is in the grimdark sector of reddit, RPG.net and other role-playing forums. Symbaroum fans, Warhammer Fantasy fans, Shadows of Esteren fans, Hexxen 1773 fans and other grimdark game communities come to mind. Throw out those #MainGauche and #ZweihanderRPG hashtags. 

3) Throw in additional monetary support! The Injuries & Mishaps Cards, along with the Daemon Cards, are now unlocked for $21 each. These will eventually go up on DriveThruRPG for $28+. Your pledge can bump us up where we all want to be.
